Job SummarySupervise the day-to-day operations of HR during 2 nd shift to ensure a high level of productivityResponsible for the recruitment process, benefits administration, training, conflict resolution, and other operational tasks as neededE nsuring compliance with all relevant legislation, and HR policies and procedures .HR Supervisor Responsibilities Conducting interviews, recruiting, and evaluating new staff Oversees new hire orientation for 2 nd shift new hires Assisting managers with staff requirements Identifying and addressing employee requirements regarding performance issues, training, and career growth Performing various administrative tasks and accurately processing paperwork Counseling staff on HR policies, practices, and procedures HR Supervisor Requirements Strong leadership skills and the ability to work unsupervised Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong moral and ethical code Competency in Microsoft Office , learning management systems , presentation tools and HRIS Excellent administrative skills In-depth knowledge of HR practices, administration, and state and federal HR laws Expertise in conflict management and relationship-building skills Ability to take initiative and maintain confidentiality Duties / Responsibilities Responsible for taking care of the walk-in traffic of employees, candidates, and visitors to the HR office R esponsible for Recruitment, selection , and placement processes for all hourly production employees Responsible for m aintaining & updating the facility staffing reports The complete I-9 verification process New employee data entry New hire orientation Employee termination process , including conducting exit interviews with hourly employees Responsible for all termination recordkeeping The employee attendance program recordkeeping The administration of short-term and long-term disability and FMLA Responsible for internal employee job posting and internal employee communication system Responsible for the entire onboarding process for all new hires Conduct ongoing employee and supervisor training Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager and or Assistant HR Manager Required Skills / Abilities Candidate must be 100% bilingual English- SpanishMust be able to speak, read and write effectively in English & Spanish Must have analytical and communication skills Requires strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Requires the ability to respond to problems quickly and efficiently Must have the ability to work as part of a team Percent to Travel If Any:

NoEducation & Experience A High School Diploma is required , and a bachelors degree is preferred Candidate should also have a minimum of 3 year s of prior human resources experience including managerial experience and Micro s oft Skills Working And E Nvironmental C Onditions This is an office position that requires time on the production floor in a food manufacturing plantExposed to moving machinery, such as forklifts and production equipmentMay be exposed to temperature extremesMay be exposed to loud noise from moving forklifts and production equipment; requires wearing hearing protection Requires wearing company lab coat and PPE Requires flexibility with schedule, including break times and working extended hours when needed This position is a 2 nd shift position.
